Briefing Session on the Seventh Round of the “Urban Renewal Heritage Preservation and District Revitalisation Funding Scheme

The Seventh Round of the “Urban Renewal Heritage Preservation and District Revitalisation Funding Scheme” briefing session was held on January 19, 2024 at H6 Conet in Central. The briefing session received an enthusiastic response, attracting over 100 interested individuals and representatives from various organizations. Mr. Wong Kam Man, Joseph, the Chief Executive of the Fund, provided an overview of the application process, funding mechanisms, and assessment criteria. This was followed by project sharing from successful applicants of the Fifth and Sixth Round, as well as representative from the Kowloon City Themed Walking Trail. The session concluded with a Q&A session, where participants eagerly raised various questions, bringing forth new ideas and inspirations for their projects.

 

The theme for the Seventh Round is ” Co-Creating Community Space and Enriching Cultural Colour of Hong Kong: Sense of Community; New-Old Fusion; People-Place Connection; Artistic Ambience”. The deadline for submitting the “Expression of Interest” and the “Application Form” is February 29, 2024, and April 30, 2024, respectively.
